There's a new LEGO baby figure to collect in
While we wait for the new minifigure series to be released on September 1, we're looking through the many LEGO babies to shine the spotlight on the most interesting entries. For this list, we're only counting human (or humanoid) LEGO babies, meaning no dinosaurs or animal figures. Here is the best of LEGO babies so far.
Baby Harry Potter

Baby Harry Potter accompanies Lily Potter in 71028 Harry Potter Series 2, and though the swaddled figure is without the character's iconic scar, this minifigure might be based on a scene before the failed murder attempt by Lord Voldemort. The 'H' on the element indicates that this is The Boy Who Lived, either way and it's a fun addition to the long list of LEGO baby figures.
Baby Voldemort

Speaking of He Who Shall Not Be Named, he received a baby figure as part of 75965 The Rise of Voldemort, and it's just as unsettling as it sounds. It's certainly the most unique of LEGO baby figures, especially since it looks like a fully-grown, noseless, pale man has been wrapped up and carried around.
Baby zombie

From one unsettling LEGO baby figure to another, the long-retired LEGO Minecraft baby zombie elements make up a unique entry into the list of LEGO babies. It's blocky appearance evokes the aesthetic of Minecraft nicely, but these pieces has been retired in favour of standard minifigure elements in
Grogu

A list of exceptional LEGO babies wouldn't be complete without a mention of one of the most common baby characters in LEGO figure form – Grogu. The Star Wars character has been featured in many models, and its figure uses a specialised head element on the standard baby body. This combination works well, and it has become a modern icon of LEGO figures.
Baby Groot

Similar to Grogu, Groot is another licensed LEGO baby figure that makes good use of a specific piece. LEGO Baby Groot most recently appears in
Sewer babies

The LEGO Movie 2 offered a post-apocalyptic take on LEGO babies with the sewer babies, appearing exclusively in 853865 TLM2 Accessory Set 2019. They transform into sparkle babies by the end of the movie, but this wild take on infants is more eye-catching and unique
Jack-Jack

Mayday isn't the first LEGO baby figure to have superpowers. That honour goes to Jack-Jack from The Incredibles. His only LEGO figure appeared in 10761 The Great Home Escape with only printing on the face for his black mask.
Maggie Simpson

Maggie Simpsons two minifigures were released before the arrival of the LEGO baby figure, which is still in use today, but this minifigure still deserves a spot on the list for exploring how best to approach minifigure babies before the current era. It's a good interpretation of the character, but it is inevitably too big.
Space baby

The current array of LEGO space baby figures has seen the cute characters launch in a variety of colours, slowly but surely making their way to match their adult counterparts. They even inspired a gift-with-purchase from earlier this year, upscaling the a space baby in a colour we have yet to see as a smaller figure.
