The first LEGO Fortnite LEGO Kits are out now

Following some downtime, the first LEGO Fortnite LEGO Kits are now available as scheduled, revealing their exact contents and more.

As was previously announced, the first two LEGO Kits are now available in Fortnite’s in-game shop. Unlike the various free updates that have come to LEGO Fortnite since its debut, these LEGO Kits are optional add-ons that cost V-Bucks, which in turn can be acquired for real money.

Two bundles are available but their items can be purchased individually too. You’ll save V-Bucks with the bundles and note that while Beef Boss is featured next to the Durrr Burger Bundle, he is not included in it. The character just pairs well with the LEGO Kit.

The Beachside Boulevard Bundle is 1,900 V-Bucks featuring seven buildings and 44 decor items. The Durr Burger Bundle is smaller but costs 2,000 V-Bucks, featuring three buildings and 41 decor items. A third LEGO Kit bundle is coming on March 16 based on a castle for 2,500 V-Bucks. You can find out more by clicking here.

Once you’ve picked up a LEGO Kit, it will be available to view in a new section in the locker tab. Note that Fortnite’s item shop frequently rotates items in and out of it, so these LEGO Kits won’t be available all the time.

The addition of builds that cannot be created in LEGO Fortnite without spending money has prompted some displeased responses from fans. LEGO Fortnite is available to play within the free-to-play Fortnite now on consoles, mobile devices and on PC.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
