The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part gets a trailer
Next year’s The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part now has an official trailer.
Warner Bros. has released a trailer for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, the sequel to 2014’s The LEGO Movie and fourth theatrically released animated LEGO flick. Chris Pratt returns as Emmet along with his friends from the first movie, as they face new challenges that are teased in this first trailer.
Stephanie Beatri will voice the new character Sweet Mayhem, bringing mini-dolls into the LEGO cinematic brick bucket for the first time. Returning voice actors include Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie as Unikitty. Tiffany Haddish and Arturo Castro will also be joining the cast.
Here is the official synopsis:
“The LEGO Movie 2” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It has been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild. The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.
The LEGO Movie 2: the Second Part will be released in February 2019.

The quality that they managed to reach within this virtual LEGO world is just amazing! I love how they made ecen the smallest details, like the explosion effects with LEGO bricks. After the first LEGO Movie, I can’t wait to watch this!
