The Merchant’s House project hits 10k on Ideas

The 4th LEGO Ideas project to qualify for the 2nd review stage of 2016 happened over night. The Merchant’s House by bigboy99899 joins  Voltron – Defender of the Universe, Spaceballs – Eagle 5, and The Addams Family Mansion in the next round of projects to be considered to become a full blown LEGO set.

Here is the project blurb:

“After getting Privilege from His Majesty of the King for obedient and honest service, the Merchant has built his own Boarding House. Sorely tired Travellers and Knights came there to rest and spend their precious gold coins for merchandise and well-forged weapons. Of course, from that yield of gold His Majesty withold some tax also.

In this build i had the challenge with the roof. Various build techniques used for the walls. Every corner has its fine details, please look around. It was a huge fun to build this medieval theme.

Every brick connected with common bindings, stable and playable.”

This is really good (although I almost prefer the winter version!). Is it a bit too big for an ideas set though?
