Two LEGO The Powerpuff Girls rumoured for release in 2018
The Powerpuff Girls are rumoured to be getting a LEGO theme in 2018, with two set names shared online.
StellarBricks shared the rumour on the Brickset message board that the LEGO Group will be releasing a theme based on The Powerpuff Girls in 2018. 41287 Bubbles’ Playground Showdown and 41288 Mojo Jojo Strikes are the two set names that have been shared.
The popular animated characters have been released in LEGO from before, as part of the Dimensions toys to life video game. 71346 Team Pack contains Blossom and Bubbles and 71343 Fun Pack contains Buttercup. It is expected that the core characters will be split across the two new LEGO sets, so fans will be tempted into buying both.
As the January 2018 LEGO sets have already been revealed, it is likely that these will be released as part of the Summer launch.
