Fortnite is teasing a Marvel reveal hours before they host a D23 livestream, suggesting that good times are ahead for LEGO Marvel enthusiasts.
Later today Fortnite is streaming a selection of the Disney Experiences panel at D23 and now, the Fortnite team are teasing a Marvel announcement just after an event ending the current season.
All signs are pointing towards something major for Marvel being revealed soon. It could mean some new content for LEGO Fortnite fans tying into Marvel too. While nothing has been officially confirmed, it’s worth noting that the end-of-season event featured Doctor Doom’s logo beneath a hood, adding another Marvel connection.
Magneto’s presence in the current season’s Battle Pass further indicates that Marvel is going to play a big role in the next season of the Fortnite story. Chapter 2 Season 4 was an all-Marvel season, and it’s no longer out of the question that this could happen again.
Since the 2020 season, LEGO Fortnite and the LEGO Group’s partnership has debuted and now most Fortnite Marvel outfits have a corresponding LEGO Style. This includes Magneto. Should there be another Marvel season on the way, there could be many LEGO Marvel styles to look forward to.
That’s only speculation for now but it’s common for the Fortnite team to share teasers of upcoming seasons after an in-game event. Pair that with the pending D23 livestream hosted within Fortnite and it seems that we can expect a big reveal later today.
