Updated LEGO Minifigure visual history out now with new Blacktron minifigure

The new LEGO Minifigure visual history book is out now, featuring the most detailed Blacktron Classic Space minifigure ever released.

As interesting as the new 9,000-piece LEGO Death Star might be, its reveal may have overshadowed the long-awaited release of the LEGO Minifigure visual history book, now updated for 2025. The new LEGO book is out now in bookstores and on Amazon for £29.99 / $39.99.

Alongside an updated guide through LEGO minifigure history, featuring more than 2,500 of the most popular and rarest minifigures from LEGO minifigure series, you’ll find a new Blacktron minifigure.

Legogamer7 showcased a better look at this new minifigure, which was then shared on Reddit. While we were able to get a look at the new torso and leg printing earlier this year, the visor on the helmet was up in the picture, blocking what we now know is a new and exciting helmet print of the Blacktron logo.

This minifigure is available exclusively in the 2025 LEGO Minifigure A Visual History Updated and Expanded book, which is available now on Amazon UK for £23.79 instead of £29.99. It will pair perfectly with 10355 Blacktron Renegade before the nostalgic LEGO Icons set retires later this year. You can check out our review of the spaceship by clicking here.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
