Updated prices and release dates for LEGO Star Wars summer 2024 sets

The latest rumours suggest a few small but notable changes to both the prices and global release dates for LEGO Star Wars summer waves in 2024.

With 2024 being the year that LEGO Star Wars celebrates its 25th anniversary, it was always going to be a big year for new sets coming to the theme. Throughout the summer, dozens of sets are now confirmed and rumoured to be on the way and now the latest rumours reported via Clay_Bricks on reddit suggest that some upcoming rumoured sets will be priced and released differently than first thought.

This includes some higher prices than originally reported, with 75385 Battle on Peridea now reportedly costing $54.99 where first it was $49.99 and 75389 Dark Millennium Falcon changing from $169.99 to $179.99. However, there are also some slightly lower prices on the horizon too, with 75396 Escape from the Sarlacc dropping from $89.99 to $79.99 and 75398 Buildable C-3PO changing from $149.99 to $139.99.

Last but not least, there’s a new price for 75374 Onyx Cinder, now believed to be priced at $139.99 where it was first reported at $129.99. What’s more, 75374 Onyx Cinder is now expected to release in August, rather than June in the EU and other regions around the world.

Speaking of release dates, the latest rumours suggest that a lot of LEGO Star Wars summer sets may come out in the United States in August, rather than June as first thought. This isn’t necessarily a delay; in fact, it’s not uncommon to see split summer releases across themes – although this is relatively rare for LEGO Star Wars.

It’s worth noting that everything reported above and indeed the very existence of any unconfirmed sets should be taken with a pinch of salt for now. Until we get an official reveal from the LEGO Group, we won’t know exactly what’s on the cards for the rest of the year in LEGO Star Wars. Remind yourself of what’s rumoured and confirmed in LEGO Star Wars for the rest of 2024 in the table below.
