What else could you buy from LEGO Star Wars for $1,000?

What else could you buy from LEGO Star Wars for $1,000?

We've picked out some LEGO Star Wars combinations that you could buy for the same price or less than 75419 Death Star's $1,000 price tag.

Many fans have been left unconvinced with what you get for £899.99 / $999.99 / €999.99 in 75419 Death Star. The lack of a sphere, the perceived shortcuts on minifigures, and other issues haven't gone down well with a large swathe of the community. Still, there's plenty else in the brick-built galaxy far, far away that you could spend $1,000, if you so choose.

In fact, we're about to prove it with some sample orders that all come in for less than 75419 Death Star below.

Two Falcons are better than one

First up, spending less can actually get you two Falcons: 75192 Millennium Falcon and 75389 The Dark Falcon. The two sets share a wealth of exclusive minifigures between them, particularly with the off-the-wall Rebuild the Galaxy characters included in the latter. Checking out with the pair of them would set you back £894.98, £5 less than the RRP of 75419 Death Star.

While the two Falcons are quite different sizes, they pair nicely together, with enough differences between them to warrant having both. Plus, the enormous scale of 75192 Millennium Falcon will scratch that itch for a lengthy build, while delivering what many would deem is a more polished final display model than 75419 Death Star.

A five-strong fleet

If you're wanting a veritable brick-built fleet, you could have one ready to go for the same cost as 75419 Death Star. 75409 Jango Fett's Firespray-Class Starship, 75355 X-Wing Starfighter, 75382 TIE Interceptor, and 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer will set you back £819.96, £80 less than the price tag on the UCS Death Star.

With three of them as UCS builds and the fourth still a mighty Imperial ship to display, you'll have hours of build time and four separate models for Rebel, Imperial, and bounty hunter displays. That's 8,409 pieces between them, coming up just 500 pieces under 75419 Death Star.

Modern and classic icons

Prefer more detail in your builds? Invest a little less at a total of £729.98 and you can bring home 75331 The Razor Crest and 75355 X-Wing Starfighter. Both are iconic UCS display models, paying homage to two different eras of Star Wars.

With 75355 X-Wing Starfighter, you can represent the original trilogy, where many Star Wars fans first fell in love with the galaxy far, far away. 75331 The Razor Crest is a snapshot of The Mandalorian, the TV show that made modern Star Wars so popular (in no small part thanks to Baby Yo – uh, Grogu).

We know, that's a lot of images – but you can get every single one of those sets above for less than 75419 Death Star.
