X-Men are fully back in LEGO Marvel in 2024

The latest batch of retailer listings has seemingly confirmed that the X-Men will be making a full return to LEGO Marvel in 2024.

After months of rumours, a listing for 76281 X-Men Jet on Eldorado International is the clearest sign yet of a proper LEGO X-Men model for the first time since 2014. According to the listing and previous reports, 10 years after 76022 X-Men vs. The Sentinel, 76281 X-Men Jet will be released in January 2024.

Retailer listings are more reliable than rumours, but some caution is still advisable until we see pictures of the models on LEGO.com. Still, all signs are pointing towards the return of the LEGO X-Men in 2024. Four minifigures are rumoured for this model, just like the 2014 LEGO Marvel set.

While there have been some X-Men inclusions in LEGO Marvel in the years since 2014, these have either been limited to a handful of minifigures – including those in 71039 Marvel Series 2 – or sets focusing solely on a single character.

The listing for 76281 X-Men Jet suggests that we’ll finally have some more LEGO X-Men models in 2024, perfect to combine with Beast, Storm and Wolverine from 71039 Marvel Series 2. The minifigures in 76281 X-Men Jet have yet to be confirmed, but it’s nearly certain that there will be at least one different character from the LEGO Collectible Minifigures.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
