Zavvi discounts dozens of LEGO sets in ‘Drive What You Love’ campaign

Zavvi has slashed prices across dozens of car-themed LEGO sets in its new ‘Drive What You Love’ campaign for Father’s Day.

The full list runs the gamut from huge Technic vehicles to tiny CITY cars, with a sprinkling of Speed Champions and even NINJAGO for good measure. The online retailer advertises the discounts as ‘up to 20% off’, but it’s substantially more in some cases – 42115 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 is marked down by a whopping 35%, for instance.

Other deeply discounted sets include 42110 Land Rover Defender, 76899 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO & Urus ST-X and 60258 Tuning Workshop, all of which are available for a fraction of their original retail price. We’ve picked out some of the highlights below, but you can also click through to Zavvi for the full selection.

42100 Liebherr R 9800 Excavator – was £399.99, now £274.99
42110 Land Rover Defender – was £159.99, now £109.99
42115 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 – was £349.99, now £229.99
42125 Ferrari 488 GTE AF CORSE #51 – was £169.99, now £129.99
60258 Tuning Workshop – was £89.99, now £59.99
76899 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO & Urus ST-X – was £54.99, now £39.99

These offers will run until June 4. Father’s Day falls on June 20 in the UK this year, so if you’ve got a dad who’s into cars, and maybe LEGO – or you’d like him to be into LEGO – this is a good opportunity to grab a gift and beat the last-minute rush.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
