LEGO Create the World trading cards launch at Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s has teamed up with the LEGO Group to offer Create the World, a collection of LEGO trading cards. The UK supermarket chain is offering a fun or frustrating opportunity for fans to collect 140 trading cards and pick up an exclusive set.
When spending £10 in a regular Sainbury’s superstore, customers get a free pack of four cards. When spending £5 in a convenience store, customers get a pack of two. The cards will also be on sale, with a pack of four costing just 50p.
Two minifigure characters, Lily and Sam, are described as ‘adventurers’ and were developed for this promotion. They feature on the cards and come as part of 40256 Create the World set, available to buy for £8 from Sainsbury’s stores or online.
It’s a good time to be connected to fellow LEGO fans, there is likely to be a lot of trading required to get a full set of these.
