30% off these Disney and Marvel LEGO sets while stocks last

It’s no secret that John Lewis are currently holding the biggest LEGO sale of the year, with massive savings to be had on over 40+ sets. (If you’re only just hearing about this now, where have you been?)

However, the deals just keep on coming, with the retailer recently marking two LEGO sets ‘Reduced to Clear’, giving Disney and Marvel fans one last chance to get their hands on retired sets at a huge 30% off. With the two sets being retired, it’s incredibly unlikely that you’ll ever be able to get these sets at such a good price again. Scroll down to find out more about the two ‘Reduced to Clear’ sets currently on offer.

LEGO Marvel 76156 Rise of the Domo

The 1,040 pieces in 76156 Rise of the Domo build up four things: the Domo itself, the Deviant leader Kro, a Deviant beast, and a tiny hovercraft to seat one minifigure, which can be parked inside the Domo. The unique, triangular ship feels deluxe and ethereal, covered in circular patterns in a pastel blue, lilac and light grey colour scheme with opalescent parts and looping golden pattern on prints and stickers.

Deviant leader Kro is poseable and playable, with an exclusive moulded head, tentacles coming off of him, and one gigantic sinewy hand, all making him appropriately mutated and sinister. The Deviant beast also looks excellent and plays well. Like other LEGO creatures, the parts for the eyes are printed, while stickers provide detail elsewhere on its body.

This LEGO Marvel set includes six minifigures, two of which are exclusive to this set in the form of Druig and Phastos. Those who have seen the ending of Eternals will be interested to know that Thena and Makkari are also included. Ikaris also makes an appearance in 76156 Rise of the Domo (as he does in most LEGO Eternals sets), however he has recently been confirmed to appear again in Marvel Zombies, just in case you wanted to secure a copy of his original minifigure for a custom creation.

There’s more than enough space to display the six minifigures inside the Domo, with its three side rooms as well as a corridor decorated with intricate geometric patterns. This spacecraft is so unique in every way, making 76156 Rise of the Domo a model not to miss out on. Originally £89.99, John Lewis have reduced the price of this set to just £62.99 – that’s 30% off, saving you £27. It’s worth noting that this set retired in December 2022, so this is most likely the best price you’re ever going to see for this set.

LEGO Disney 43181 Raya and the Heart Palace

This now retired set includes a buildable palace with six different rooms to explore, including a throne room, treasure room, eating area and a hidden room behind a revolving wall. What’s more, the two side towers open to provide a holding area for weapons, with the central tower opening to reveal a bedroom adorned with portraits of Raya’s friends.

Like every set in the Raya and the Last Dragon range, the colour palette uses several shades of blue with teal, white and gold. The set comes with two mini-dolls: Raya and Namaari, who are well-detailed and true to the film, as well as Raya’s pet Tuk Tuk and Namaari’s pet Serlot.

43181 Raya and the Heart Palace is the largest amongst the three Raya and the Last Dragon sets, including 610 pieces for the reduced price of just £52.49 (down from £74.99). Most of the decorations you find in the sets are stickers, but there are also some beautiful printed pieces, like the 2×3 map tile and the large onion-shaped dome. Tuk Tuk, Raya’s pet (the pill-bug-armadillo-puppy hybrid, of course) functions as a high speed off-road vehicle, consisting of a dual-moulded large piece with no articulation.

It’s an enjoyable set to build, with an exciting range of colours and parts if you’re a fan of custom projects. What’s more, this set could be easily expanded for building a larger fantasy palace. You could combine with other LEGO Disney palaces, or even combine with 43184 Raya and Sisu Dragon for the full Raya and the Last Dragon experience. Originally £74.99, this set has seen a price drop to just £52.49, saving you £22.50. That’s 30% off – and with this set being retired – is probably the best price you’ll ever see for this palace.
