Up to 40% off at LEGO.com, plus double points and up to three free gifts

The LEGO Group has launched a huge new sale with up to 40% off dozens of sets across Star Wars, Marvel, Ideas and more – and it all stacks with double points and three free gifts-with-purchase.

From today through October 15, you can earn double Insiders points (previously VIP points) on all purchases at LEGO.com, equivalent to 10% cashback to spend on future purchases. At the same time, you can also take advantage of discounts on a wide range of sets (specific availability and discounts vary from region to region), and qualify for up to three different free gifts.

40597 Scary Pirate Island is free with all orders above £95 / $100 / €100 through October 22 (or while stocks last), and 40608 Halloween Fun VIP Add-On Pack is still available with purchases above £45 / $50 / €50 until October 12. Those gifts stack, so if you place an order totalling at least £95 / $100 / €100, you’ll snag both in one fell swoop (along with at least £9.50 / $10 / €10 in points).

If you’re in the UK or Europe, you can also score last year’s spooky free gift 40562 Mystic Witch with orders above £115 or €130. This secret bonus GWP isn’t listed on the offers page, though, so we don’t yet know for how long it’s supposed to run.

Either way, that makes this one of the most lucrative moments in the entire year to place an order from the official online store – especially if you’ve got your eye on any of the sets currently on sale. A total of 50 sets are on sale in the UK and Europe, while 79 are discounted in the US. Check out a quick snapshot of the best deals across all three regions below, or click here to go straight to LEGO.com and start shopping.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me out with getting hold of the international space station set as Lego have retired it and I don’t want to go to Amazon and pay double.
    Thanks James Steven

Hi James – you could try BrickLink, Facebook groups or even eBay, most of which are usually cheaper than Amazon.
