LEGO 40613 Mini Disney Palace of Agrabah revealed

The latest LEGO Mini Disney set has been revealed as 40613 Mini Disney Palace of Agrabah – featuring details taken straight from Aladdin.

Joining 40478 Mini Disney Castle and 40521 Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion, 40613 Mini Disney Palace of Agrabah brings the home of Princess Jasmine to life like no LEGO set before it. It’s releasing on October 1 for £39.99 / $39.99 / €39.99 with 506 pieces.

As a microscale model, many of those included pieces are going to be on the small side in order to capture the necessary details. As well as the palace, the lamp and the flying carpet are included, perched just next to a balcony.

Drum-lacquered gold is used for the many domes at varying heights and the build is placed on a square black base, as opposed to the circular black bases used for the previous LEGO Mini Disney sets. Also unlike the previous Mini Disney models, there’s no exclusive minifigure included with no room on the base for one either.

Despite the difference, it should look good alongside 40478 Mini Disney Castle and 40521 Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion when it launches on October 1 for £39.99 / $39.99 / €39.99.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
