LEGO Friends 42604 Heartlake City Shopping Mall pricing revealed

The first 2024 LEGO Friends set has been revealed as the new cast is about to start their second year with a fresh shopping mall.

Launching on January 1, 2024, for £104.99 / $119.99 / €119.99, 42604 Heartlake City Shopping Mall features 1,237 pieces including two mall models, some accessories as well as six mini-dolls and one micro-doll.

For the LEGO Friends enthusiasts, the included characters are Liann, Aliya and Nova from the main cast, Liann’s mom – Michelle – and younger sister – Victoria – and Petch and Irene. Petch uses a new mini-doll leg piece with a prosthetic leg, offering even more diversity for the theme.

The shops in the newest take on Heartlake City’s mall include one for toys, sports gear, gardening makeup and video games as well as a noodle restaurant. Compared to previous mall sets in LEGO Friends, it’s a much different selection of shops and restaurants.

However, the design is similar to the 2021 set in case you want to combine them for a bigger shopping experience, even with the working escalators.

For now, this is the only LEGO Friends set officially confirmed for 2024. Whether more will be revealed in time has yet to be seen, though it seems unlikely to be launching alone.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
