Could this emoji be hinting at a LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga reveal?

A new emoji has been added to the LEGO Star Wars hashtag on Twitter, potentially hinting at an upcoming announcement for the Skywalker Saga video game.

If you’ve been keeping up to date with the latest on LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker saga, you’ll know that the project has recently faced a delay, but that clues are hinting towards a reveal later this summer.

However, it has now been spotted that when tweeting ‘#LEGOStarWars’, a custom emoji of Darth Vader’s iconic helmet will automatically be added to the message, indicating that something relating to the theme is on the way.

Admittedly, this may have been implemented ready for the May the Fourth celebrations taking place next week on the official online store. However, the event itself might also be more evidence that an announcement for the delayed video game is on the way, with this emoji supporting the social media presence with a unifying hashtag.

It might also be that the Darth Vader emoji was created simply to support the release of the new Star Wars sets today, including 75304 Darth Vader Helmet. Though this would be one of, if not the first time that such a marketing strategy has been used for a LEGO model’s launch, meaning it might be for something more.

We’ll have to wait and see what comes of this new emoji, but the evidence for a future reveal for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga seems to be stacking up as summer approaches.
