A LEGO BrickLink Designer Program stock error has been fixed

Following the quickly sold stock for the three remaining LEGO sets in the first round of the BrickLink Designer Program, the site has now been updated.

As reported, the final trio of rejected LEGO Ideas sets in round one of the BrickLink Designer Program was listed as unavailable on the platform earlier in the day. However, this has been confirmed as an error as amendments have now been made displaying the accurate stock status for each remaining model.

In what was likely a programming error, similar to the server issues which caused 910001 The Castle in the Forest to sell the double its originally allocated amount, the landing page for the BrickLink Designer Program was stating that all five of the funded sets had completely sold out. The same page now reveals this to be untrue, showing that the sales for the first phase seem to be as stalled as before the mistake.

Currently leading the charge in sales for the remaining three builds is 910028 Pursuit of Flight, followed closely by 910016 Sheriff’s Safe and 910017 Kakapo respectively.

Whilst the first round of the BrickLink Designer Program isn’t due to end until August 31, the error has revealed that the next round was at some point planned to begin in early November, though this may change before the day arrives. It also showed that a total of nine projects might make up the second phase with pre-orders starting on August 15, making this information questionable considering that round one will still be underway then.

We’ll let you know when we know what’s happening next with the BrickLink Designer Program but for now, rest assured that 9100028 Pursuit of Flight, 910016 Sheriff’s Safe and 910017 Kakapo have stock to spare still.
