Another BrickLink Designer Program Series 3 LEGO set sells out

A second BrickLink Designer Program Series 3 LEGO set has sold out, with two of the remaining three crowdfunded builds not far behind.

Krackenator’s Forest Stronghold was the first set in this batch of five to completely sell out, with all 30,000 copies claimed within four hours of going on sale. It’s now followed by KingCreations’ Camping Adventure, the smallest and cheapest set in the third series of the BrickLink Designer Program, which has sold through its allocation in just under 24 hours.

Still up for grabs are Rich_Herbert’s Harbormaster’s Office, brickester’s The Art of Chocolate and letsgolegobrick’s Lost City. At the time of writing, The Art of Chocolate is closest to selling out next, with roughly 25% of its total copies left to purchase. Close behind it is Harbormaster’s Office, while Lost City trails by some distance, having sold approximately 25% of the total 30,000 sets.

That one feels unlikely to sell out at all during this crowdfunding round, which comes to a close on October 31 at 9pm UK time. But the other two will probably only last a few more days each at the current rate, so make sure to jump on those as soon as possible if you’re deliberating whether to pre-order either of them.

The LEGO Group will reserve the required balance temporarily for now, but you won’t be charged properly until the sets ship – which is currently estimated to take place in March 2025.

You can take a closer look at Harbormaster’s Office in our written and video reviews. Check out the table below for a full round-up of BrickLink Designer Program Series 3 sets.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
