With under a week remaining to take advantage of this offer before it ends on April 26, here are some of the best LEGO sets to consider picking up with double points and a gift when you spend over £70 / $75 / €75.

LEGO Horizon’s 77037 Aloy & Varl vs. Shell-Walker & Sawtooth is arguably the best model included in this double points event, featuring 768 elements for £39.99 / $44.99. Its value was praised in our review, and that’s not to mention the two minifigures. Aloy was included in the retired Horizon model, but Varl is entirely exclusive, and both come with a new element.

Monkie Kid is next up with 80051 Monkie Kid’s Mini Mech, costing £39.99 / $54.99 in regions where double points are being offered. It’s a downsized version of one of the most memorable LEGO mechs to date. It also happens to be a great entry point into Monkie Kid that won’t take up too much room or break the bank.

The included minifigure also comes with a rare minifigure armour piece. That and the textile flags will make the set appeal to LEGO collectors. To get the most LEGO Insiders points possible during this event, you may want to consider 40819 Up-Scaled Racing Driver Minifigure, too.

The £54.99 / $59.99 model is one of the most recent entries in the range of up-scaled minifigure models, and is scheduled to retire later this year. It’s a great accompanying build for any Formula 1 sets or any other kind of racing models in your collection.

Rounding out our top picks is a Mario Kart build, which is also due to retire later this year. Now that we know Super Mario minifigures are coming next year, we can look at the theme with an all-new perspective. In this case, it’s about checking which Mario Kart cars will suit minifigures, even if they’ll be oversized.

72044 Piranha Plant Power-Up Pursuit is one such model. The Tanooki Kart is about the size of a monster truck compared to a minifigure, while the Cat Cruiser can fit two minifigures side by side, or more. The included Piranha Plant build is sure to be useful with the Mario Kart minifigures, as well.

Whichever LEGO sets you decide to pick up, don’t forget that you can also score a free 40890 Easter Decorations with all orders over £70 / $75 / €75. These deals end on April 26.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
