Best price yet on LEGO Super Mario Piranha Plant

LEGO Super Mario‘s most affordable 18+ model has been discounted to its best price so far as John Lewis slashes the cost of 71426 Piranha Plant.

71426 Piranha Plant has been dropped from £57.99 to £46.39 at John Lewis in one of the set’s first sales ever. This detailed depiction of the recognisable plant uses 540 pieces to recreate the enemy as a display-centric model that is not dependent on the course-building LEGO Super Mario sets – the first in the theme to eschew them.

71426 Piranha Plant‘s non-electronic features include an opening mouth, a posable stem and leaves as well as a coin bank in its green pipe pot to store spare change or a couple of included LEGO Super Mario coins inspired by the games.

Whether you have an empty spot on your desk or want a whimsical addition to your LEGO Botanical Collection display, 71426 Piranha Plant is relatively new and has not received many discounts so far.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
