Bluey adds more evidence to a rumoured collab with LEGO

The official Instagram account for Bluey might have just added some evidence to a rumoured partnership with the LEGO Group.

Adding fuel to the fire that is the rumour reported yesterday by Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat, the official Bluey Instagram account has shared a festive snap, with a tree stacked with presents underneath. If you look closely at the presents, there’s a brick-built long dog, a blue and pink easter egg that appears in various episodes of the TV show.

It’s a recurring symbol that pops up in every episode, originally devised as a fun challenge for the animators to find a way to incorporate the long dog into the episodes. It evolved into a challenge for viewers to find during the episodes.

Now, it could be a clue that a LEGO x Bluey theme could indeed be on the way. After all, the caption of the post promises ‘surprises.’

“A Christmas fit for the Heelers! Hope your tree is full of surprises…” reads the caption from Bluey in full, followed by emojis of a pair of eyes and a gift.

Of course, we can’t take this hint as official confirmation just yet but it does offer some more supporting evidence. At the moment, the rumoured LEGO sets thought to be inspired by Bluey are known only by the codename ‘Berry.’
