Brick Fanatics’ top LEGO minifigures of 2024 – honourable mentions
Whittling down the hundreds of new LEGO minifigures in 2024 for our top 10 wasn’t easy, so here are the honourable mentions that also deserve a shout-out.
Brick Fanatics’ top 10 LEGO minifigures of 2024 includes such stand-out characters as Sauron, The Lady of Pain and Jedi Bob, as voted on collectively by the team. Each staffer submitted an individual list of 10 nominations, from which we then collated an overall list weighted by the most popular nominees. We couldn’t let the rest pass by without so much as a passing mention, though.
To that end, we’ve each picked out one of our favourite LEGO minifigures of 2024 that didn’t make the initial top 10. Check those out below, and don’t forget to browse through the rest of our look back over 2024 in LEGO.
Chris – Saw Gerrera
Theme: LEGO Star Wars Set: 75383 Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator

LEGO Star Wars often stands out for its minifigures in a way that other themes don’t, not necessarily for the work the design team puts into them, but for the source material being so visually distinct to begin with. Paint R2-D2 pink and you’ve got a pretty interesting minifigure with minimal effort. But Saw Gerrera represents the perfect collision of character design and LEGO minifigure interpretation, going above and beyond most others in 2024.
Darth Malak took top spot in our main top 10 list, but for my money Saw Gerrera deserves to be right up there too – not only for how long overdue he was in LEGO, but for how the LEGO Star Wars team executed his design perfectly at the first time of asking. From the detailed armour piece and torso printing underneath (which allows for a more traditional interpretation of a minifigure if you so prefer) to the custom printed cape, everything about this minifigure is enough to sell 75383 Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator all on its own.
Rachael – Tiefling Sorcerer
Theme: LEGO Minifigures Set: 71047 Dungeons & Dragons

Fantasy fans have had an excellent year and no minifigure is a better example of this than 71047 Dungeons & Dragons’ Tiefling Sorcerer. The unique horned hair and tail help it to stand out from a CMF series full of fantastical beings. Add intricate torso, leg, and arm printing to the mix and you have your answer as to why it was top of my personal list of D&D minifigures to collect.
Colour theory has been put to excellent work here, pairing purple clothing with gold accents and red-orange skin for a minifigure that pops. If you want a character to stand out among the often darker colours of medieval displays, look no further than the Tiefling Sorcerer.
Jack – Raven
Theme: LEGO Fortnite Set: 77073 Battle Bus

Most of the minifigures in 77073 Battle Bus could easily be classed as one of the best minifigures of 2025. Their attention to detail is a direct consequence of putting all of the initial Fortnite minifigures into a single larger set, shifting their budgets into one place as a result.
While many of the 77073 Battle Bus minifigures are outlandish and colourful, matching various eras of Fortnite’s lengthy history, Raven has a more versatile design that makes it my top pick for an honourable mention. The all-around printing on the legs and the cloaked hood with feathers element are sure to be useful for LEGO Castle and other fantasy themes while accurately portraying one of the earliest Fortnite characters. Of the many reasons to pick up 77073 Battle Bus, Raven is one minifigure not to miss.
Matt – Quint
Theme: LEGO Ideas Set: 21350 Jaws

We’ve already included 21350 Jaws as one of our top LEGO sets of 2024 and there are numerous reasons why it made the grade. One of those is its perfect minifigure selection, with the LEGO Ideas model featuring spot-on likenesses of Chief Martin Brody, Matt Hooper and Sam Quint. However, the stand-out of that line-up has to be shark-hunter Quint, with an uncanny resemblance to grizzled screen actor Robert Shaw.
The Quint minifigure represents everything that’s possible with the humble LEGO minifigure, by perfectly recreating the look of a well-known character with a minimal amount of printing and detail. With long grey sideburns, crumpled fishing jacket and shirt, angled moustache and intense scowl, the minifigure is instantly recognisable as the one-and-only grouchy fan-favourite Amity Island resident.
Rob – Mr. Freeze
Theme: LEGO Batman Set: 76274 Batman with the Batmobile vs. Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze

Mr. Freeze made a welcome return to LEGO Batman in 2024 and for the first time as he appeared in Batman: The Animated Series. Anyone with any affinity for that 1990s cartoon will be well aware of Freeze’s unique story told so well and, as a result, the iconic-but-tragic character that he is.
This minifigure design is long-awaited and excellently-executed thanks to a very subtle but detailed torso and head print and a brand new and exclusive trans-clear moulded dome piece (which is one of our favourite new pieces of the year and is available on Pick A Brick right now).
