Don't wait too much longer to place your LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 as a pair of projects have sold out overnight.
History is repeating itself as the second series of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program is proving to be popular and the first two projects to sell out have been revealed after a day since it launched.
LEGO Trains seem to be popular on BrickLink as 910034 Brick Cross Train Station is one of the first models to sell out in this series after it was one of the first to be funded. For comparison, 910033 Old Train Engine Shed was one of the first three projects to sell out in Series 1, also providing an adult-focused model for LEGO Trains enthusiasts. Notably, 910035 Logging Railway isn't quite as popular so far.
| LEGO set | Price | Pieces | Designer | Link |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mushroom House | £69.99 / $89.99 / €79.99 | 964 | Jonas Kramm | Sold out |
| The Ocean House | £159.99 / $199.99 / €179.99 | 2,207 | Harry Finkel | Buy now |
| Logging Railway | £169.99 / $209.99 / €189.99 | 2,731 | Ties van Asseldonk | Buy now |
| Ominous Isle | £189.99 / $239.99 / €219.99 | 2,809 | Jared Le Cras | Buy now |
| Brick Cross Train Station | £229.99 / $279.99 / €259.99 | 3,050 | Marcos Garavelli | Sold out |
At the time of writing, there seems to be a fair few copies of the other three submissions remaining, though we'd recommend picking them up while you can given that it's only been one day since the series started. 910038 Ominous Isle seems likely to sell out next.
You can see what we thought of 910038 Ominous Isle by clicking here or here for a more focused discussion of the set.
It's entirely possible that these three remaining projects won't sell out before crowdfunding for the second series closes on June 30, though it seems unlikely at least for the LEGO Pirates model.
