Bring some festive cheer to The Child with LEGO Star Wars designers

LEGO Star Wars designers are back with another video showing fans how to reimagine 75318 The Child for Christmas.

In a new YouTube Video, LEGO Star Wars Design Director Jens Kronvold Frederiksen and Design Manager Michael Lee Stockwell continue to bring a Christmas twist to LEGO Star Wars sets. This time their attention is pointed to 75318 The Child, bringing the holidays to The Mandalorian’s little co-pilot.

The video starts with the two LEGO Star Wars designers giving some insight into the model itself, highlighting the features and some of the smaller details. One notable feature is the decoration around the eyes to give them some life.

The designers then bring some festive cheer to The Child, taking away the gear-shift knob and replacing it with a candy cane made of 2×2 red and white bricks. Adding to the scene are a few Christmas presents, each with a unique bow. It seems Din Djarin was generous to The Child with three gifts. Brick Fanatics can’t help wondering if one of them is his favourite toy?

This video is the latest in a series where members of The LEGO Star Wars design team demonstrate some ways to reimagine LEGO Star Wars sets for the holidays. There are plenty of other ways to celebrate Christmas with LEGO Star Wars including the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, and a new contest with FIRST LEGO League.
