Build your LEGO wishlist with Brick Search

Every LEGO fan has a wishlist as long as their arm – and now that wishlist can be stored easily on your phone or tablet as part of the Brick Search app.

There’s no need for any more hastily typed-up notes or scribbled scraps of paper so beaten up you can’t tell if that’s a seven or a one at the end of that set number. Instead, Brick Search allows you to add the LEGO set (or sets) of your dreams to your wishlist with one easy tap.

To get started, all you need to is browse or search for the set you’re after in the Brick Search app. Tap through to the set details page, and hit the heart icon. That’s it! The product in question is now in your wishlist, which you can easily access by tapping in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. You can also add sets to your wishlist by scanning their barcodes – perfect for while you're standing in the LEGO Store.

Once you’ve added a good number of sets to your wishlist (let’s face it, nobody ever wants just one or two LEGO sets), you might worry about having too much to browse through. But don’t: the Brick Search app allows you to organise your wishlist however you like, sorting by new or old additions, in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order, or by the number of pieces.

You can also filter the list by theme and year, so you can easily see at a glance all the LEGO Star Wars or Harry Potter sets on your current wishlist, for example – or all the 2021 or 2022 sets you need to pick up before they retire. And once you’ve bought a set from your wishlist, you can remove it with a single tap – and add it to your collection on Brick Search with another.

While you're in the wishlist tab, you can also share it with friends, family, colleagues or anyone whose contact details happen to be in your phone, ready for them to buy you that birthday present you've secretly been pining for these past few months. And if they don't, well, maybe it's time to find yourself some new friends, family and distant acquaintances.

Best of all: you can now take your LEGO wishlist wherever you go. Sitting on the train reading a review of the latest LEGO Star Wars set, and suddenly decide it’s a must-have? Hop into the Brick Search app and add it to your wishlist. Stood in the LEGO Store weighing up your next purchase, but can’t remember all the sets you were hoping to buy? Your wishlist is right there in your pocket.
