Catch up on must-have LEGO collections with double Insiders points

The LEGO Insiders double points event ends soon, but there’s still time to fill any gaps in your collection ahead of some upcoming releases.

Looking ahead to the rest of 2025, we can already see some patterns emerging in what’s rumoured and what’s already been revealed, with some sets continuing already-established collections and sub-themes. Rather than bulk-buying all at once, building up your collections over time is kinder on your wallet and spreads the fun out over time.

Get prepared for some highly-anticipated new releases by plugging any gaps in your LEGO collection now during the LEGO Insiders double points event. You earn the equivalent of 10% cashback on future purchases when you redeem your Insiders points for vouchers – which makes buying future sets that much easier too.

LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection

With 75429 AT-AT Driver Helmet coming on March 1 and 75408 Jango Fett Helmet rumoured to be coming on May 1, the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection is officially back. The current LEGO Insiders double points event is the perfect time to pick up any that are currently on shelves that you’ve not yet built. That will typically earn you around £6 / $7 / €7 in cashback to go towards your next brick-built helmet.

LEGO Transformers

LEGO Icons Transformers 10338 Bumblebee review 16 1024x683

10358 Transformers: Soundwave is rumoured to be joining the LEGO Icons theme in August. While that’s not confirmed just yet, we’ve already got a winning LEGO Transformers duo in the form of 10302 Optimus Prime and 10338 Bumblebee, a pair that would only get better when you add a brick-built Soundwave to the mix. Boost your LEGO Insiders points balance and create the ultimate Transformers display at the same time.

LEGO Icons Formula 1 pairing

Ahead of the release of 10353 Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell on March 1, make sure you have its perfect companion in the form of 10330 McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna. You can pick up over 1,000 LEGO Insiders points when you buy the existing LEGO Icons set – and you could even pre-order 10353 Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell (although it’s worth noting your Insiders points won’t be doubled on the latter).

LEGO Vincent van Gogh

Another March 1 release, 31215 Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers, has an ideal companion set to display it with. LEGO Ideas 21333 Vincent van Gogh – Starry Night is another brick-built recreation of an iconic artwork from the painter. The yellow elements in the stars and the moon bring out the brighter colours in the LEGO Art set, ensuring each set makes the other pop when displayed side by side on the wall.

LEGO Technic Formula 1 collection

Two new LEGO Technic Formula 1 ses are also coming on March 1 in the form of 42206 Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 and 42207 Ferrari SF-24, but they’ve already got a third sibling with 42171 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance. Built to the exact same scale, if you want one, you’ll probably end up wanting them all, so why not get a headstart with 42171 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance today and get 10% cashback at the same time?

For car fans wanting something a little more bite-size, LEGO Speed Champions is thought to be returning to Fast & Furious later this year with 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000. Now is the ideal time, then, to catch up on past sets based on the action movie franchise, like 76917 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34), complete with a Paul Walker minifigure.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
