CinemaCon is starting soon with Disney movie news and more

CinemaCon is about to begin with panels and potential updates for movies from Marvel Studios, Disney and more, including Deadpool & Wolverine.

CinemaCon 2024 in Las Vegas is nearly here for another year and as usual, it’s scheduled to feature showcase panels from the likes of Walt Disney Studios, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. Pictures and more. The official website has more details on what to expect and it’s worth noting that the Walt Disney Studios panel could include news for Marvel and Star Wars projects too, though nothing has been confirmed.

At least one Marvel movie has more potential than most to be showcased as a motion poster for Deadpool & Wolverine is being shown at the event and with its release coming on July 26, it’s not a bad time to continue its promotion. A motion poster for Inside Out 2 is featured outside CinemaCon too.

The Paramount Pictures panel may be worth keeping an eye on too as Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is due this December featuring Shadow the Hedgehog. Nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing, but some kind of update is plausible given its release date. Both the Paramount and Walt Disney Studios panels take place on April 11.

Earlier this month, a rumour for a new LEGO Shadow the Hedgehog model surfaced as well, potentially making it the third LEGO Shadow the Hedgehog set in 2024.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
