Compare two of the most expensive LEGO Harry Potter sets

This year has been a busy one for LEGO Harry Potter fans, with so many anniversary sets, so how do two of the most iconic ones shape up next to each other?

LEGO YouTuber PotterMinifigPals has got her hands on 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition ahead of its official release on September 2, 2021. As it’s a special release to celebrate 20 years of Harry Potter movies, the build is packed full of iconic references and inclusions.

To see how it compares to arguably the most iconic LEGO Harry Potter set, 71043 Hogwarts Castle, the YouTuber put them side by side for an in-depth comparison.

Although 71043 Hogwarts Castle has potentially more detail, showcasing the famous castle in its entirety and dozens of scenes from throughout the franchise, 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition is a similarly impressive display model. What’s more, it comes out over £100 cheaper than the larger castle build.

Of course, with 71043 Hogwarts Castle retiring at the end of 2022, you might not have a lot of time on your hands to take this castle replica home if it is on your list. Click on the play button above to see if PotterMinifigPals’ opinion can help you make up your mind – or snag both for your collection if you really can’t choose. We wouldn’t blame you.
