Could The Bad Batch Season 2 bring updated LEGO Star Wars minifigures?
The Bad Batch Season 2 poses a new mission for Clone Force 99 – but could it also bring new LEGO Star Wars minifigures?
Disney just dropped the trailer for The Bad Batch Season 2, confirming its release date at the same time. While we only got brief (albeit dramatic) looks at everyone’s favourite group, it’s clear that several of The Bad Batch characters are getting updated appearances in the new season.
Commander Cody has swapped his orange suit for new grey armour, while the entire troop has ditched the skull-like symbols and the ’99’ markers that distinguished them in the first season. Clone Force 99 seems to be moving away from their origins and accepting their new place in the galaxy.
In line with that, every member seems to be incorporating more non-armour additions to their clothing, highlighting that their armour is starting to fall into disrepair. As each character makes on-the-go alterations, their personalities can start to shine even more, as we get to know the soldiers in their second season.
With all of these changes on the way, we can hope that the LEGO Star Wars theme will also update any The Bad Batch minifigures with their new looks. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see what the LEGO Group has in store for us – but fingers crossed!
