Custom LEGO 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade works more than ever before

LEGO 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade is functional straight out of the box, but with a few electronics, it can be a completely working arcade.

Experienced arcade machine maker CIRCUITBEARD has used the Bandai Namco LEGO set to create a working PAC-MAN arcade. While it’s true that the original 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade has some functionality similar to the real deal, its lack of electronics means it will never be exactly like the original game.

That’s where CIRCUITBEARD’s design comes in. It utilises a Pimorino 10-inch screen with a custom build taking up the interior of the cabinet, not shown at the time of writing.

The buttons are custom pieces connected to the electronics, but the creation still uses the original brick-built buttons of 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade to push down on them. The joystick is held inside a custom 3D-printed brick too.

The number of specially designed elements will make this custom build a lot harder to replicate, though it at least demonstrates that 10323 PAC-MAN Arcade can be used as a shell for a functioning machine.

More details on the custom creation have been promised for the future but are not yet available at the time of reporting.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
