Designer meet for LEGO Icons 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell announced

You’ll be able to meet the designers behind LEGO Icons 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell soon as a new event has been announced.

You might want to clear your calendar for March 5 between 12:30pm and 1:30pm GMT at the Leicester Square LEGO store. During this time slot, you’ll have the chance to meet and get your set signed by Mike Psiaki and Ashwin Visser, two members of the design team behind 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell.

Officially revealed earlier today, the online store has confirmed that the flagship store will be hosting a designer meet for 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell. March 5 is the same day as the VIP launch for the model and the event page clarifies that only VIP members will be able to purchase the set at the event to have the designers sign their copy.

The model will be available for general sale on March 8. Provided stock levels last, you should be able to get a free copy of 40630 Frodo & Gollum at the event too. For a closer look at the model, we’ve got a full visual tour available to read.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
