Major Disney and Creator Expert discounts at LEGO.com

The UK and Europe branches of LEGO.com are offering price reductions on major releases in the LEGO Disney and LEGO ICONS product ranges.

Price discounts are relatively rare on LEGO.com, reserved for retiring products and certain other periods. They’re rarer still on the more expensive sets in the LEGO lineup, which makes these new reductions all the odder – and more enticing.

10% discounts can currently be had on 43197 The Ice Castle, 10284 Camp Nou – FC Barcelona and 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar. This brings their respective prices down to £166.49 / €188.99, £260.99 / €296.99 and £67.99 / €76.49.

The first two sets in this trio may prove the most enticing. 43197 The Ice Castle is one of the more ambitious releases in the LEGO Disney, depicting a large-scale version of Elsa’s castle from the first Frozen movie. The lavish model features numerous nods to the Frozen film series and its assorted shorts, as well as minidolls of Elsa in both her Arendelle and Snow Queen outfits. Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and a quartet of Snowgies can also be found here.

10284 Camp Nou – FC Barcelona depicts the classic Spanish football stadium, measuring just under 50cm across. It features the entire stadium structure, with plenty of official Camp Nou branding to make it clear what you’re looking at. Finer details like trees and the Barca bus make it a solid option for football fans.

Several other sets (including many from the VIDIYO line) are also enjoying discounts at the moment, although these have been hanging around for some time at this point. In any case, if you’ve had any of these sets on your wish-list now is the time to buy – especially since 40533 Cosmic Cardboard Adventures is still available with orders over £160 / €160.
