Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness rumours hint at multiple cameos

Rumours are circulating that hint at the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness featuring multiple Marvel cameos. (Possible spoilers)

Spider-Man: No Way Home not only became the biggest movie of 2021 with over $1 billion at the box office, but it also cracked open the door to the multiverse even wider. Both the Loki and What If…? shows on Disney+ gave us our first MCU taste of the comic book concept, with the Doctor Strange sequel set to take it even further.

Currently set for a May 6 release, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will take Stephen Strange on a wild ride through multiple parallel dimensions, encountering both the Scarlet Witch and a twisted version of himself. While a teaser trailer has already been released, most details of the forthcoming mystical movie are currently being kept under wraps.

However, rumours are swirling that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will feature not just a handful of major character cameos, but many multiple versions that will surpass both Spider-Man: No Way Home and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

BGR is one of many fan sites that claims to have word from inside sources that Multiverse of Madness will feature, ‘a fantastic cameo that’s a “fan dream come true.”’ They then go on to list a number of additional characters that might appear in the film, but we won’t spoil those for you here. Obviously, all of these rumours are currently unsubstantiated, so do take them with a pinch of salt.

To date only one LEGO Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness tie-in set has been released, 76205 Gargantos Showdown
