Does your local LEGO store have the Series 29 minifigure you want?
Brick Search Plus has a new way to help you find the minifigure you want for Series 29: a stock checker that can tell you if it’s likely to be at your local LEGO Store.
Thanks to data from Brick Search Plus’s minifigure stock checker, we can see which minifigure is being scanned where, so now we know that there’s been a lot of sightings of the Football Goalkeeper in Amsterdam, while they’re almost over-run with Trash Monsters in Manchester.
Meanwhile, if you’re looking for the Marine Biologist then London’s Leicester Square LEGO Store is a good place to go, Dublin’s got a lot of Chocolatiers and Paris is the place to be for the Boba Cup Fan.
Every LEGO store should have plenty of Series 29 minifigures but some stores will have more of some than the others, as minifigure army builders and single-interest LEGO fans pick up the ones top of their wanted list.
Each scan of a minifigure box code is recorded by Brick Search and matched with the location data, allowing the app to make an informed estimate of stock levels in each store. Indeed, while some of the minifigures boxes that are scanned will be taken off the shelves and bought, most of them won’t be. Not everyone wants a battalion of Mysterious Ronins or an orchestra full of Tuba Players; some minifigure collectors are content with one of each and the rest that they scan go back on the shelf.
So when Brick Search Plus’ information says there is high availability of the Monster Hunter in the Liverpool LEGO Store, it’s a safe bet that there are a lot of Monster Hunters still waiting to be taken home.

The minifigure stock checker works with location data, so you’ll see the information for your nearest LEGO stores wherever you are in the world.
You can also create your Series 29 checklist using Brick Search’s new checklist feature – open the scanner page, then tap the Checklist bar and tap any minifigure. From there you can choose how many of each one you want and tick them off as you add them to your collection.

And when you scan a minifigure box code with Brick Search’s scanner, you can directly check off the minifigure by tapping the green check icon that’ll appear, or dismiss it with the red x if it’s not the one you want.
Brick Search is available for iOS devices from the App Store, and for Android devices from the Google Play Store. Brick Search Plus members get unlimited use of the minifigure code scanner and 3% cashback on LEGO.com purchases made via the app, as well as access to the full LEGO back catalogue of more than 10,000 sets for building their collection and wishlist.
