With DUPLO Valley opening in a refreshed version at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, the theme park has shared video and images of the DUPLO Dino Coaster and more.
Yesterday saw the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort reopen for the 2020 season, with DUPLO Valley offering a brand-new ride – the DUPLO Dino Coaster. The little coaster sees families go on a journey around a circuit with age appropriate thrills for two to five year olds.
To coincide with the new ride, the rest of DUPLO Valley has been refreshed. The outdoor play area Brickville has become into DUPLO Playtown with a brand-new rocket play structure. Standing at an impressive 5.3 metres, it features play panels and slides. DUPLO Valley Airport has also been given a makeover. Dexter the Dog is a new character who will appear in DUPLO Valley for children to meet.
DUPLO Valley still features the classic Fairy Tale Brook attraction and DUPLO Express Train, with the water play area due to reopen in the summer. The DUPLO theatre features a new puppet show for 2020, The Frog Prince.
A team of 12 expert designers worked on the new DUPLO land for more than two and a half months to create.
Atlantis Submarine Voyage has been re-themed to fit in with other City rides nearby, now named LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure. New sea turtle models, that use 16,384 bricks, sit outside the ride before visitors enter to be introduced to a new pre-ride video and characters.
Tickets to the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort are available at the official website.
