Ed Sheeran talks LEGO sets on Graham Norton Show

Whether you’re a LEGO builder, collector or somewhere in between, it’s an expensive hobby – as a multimillionaire, singer Ed Sheeran no longer has to worry about funding his brick fandom. As part of an interview on tonight’s Graham Norton Show, The LEGO House singer touches on his hobby.

The Independent reports that he has indulged in a rather appealing LEGO Star Wars set:

“When my album went to number one I bought the Death Star Lego kit – it was time!” he said.

Not only that, but he doesn’t let dating get in the way when he has a new set he wants to build.

And Sheeran, who recently returned to the limelight following a year off, said that he took his Lego set when he went on a date because he could not wait to build it.

“I once went on a date, brought a Lego set with me and while we were chatting I made the set and then left,” the Castle On The Hill singer told Norton.

Sheeran’s passion extends beyond LEGO sets, as during the interview he mentions buying cuddly toys and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for himself – he may love the brick, but it seems he has a passion for toys in general. The Graham Norton Show airs tonight at 10.35pm on BBC1.
