Enhancing LEGO Star Wars 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City

LEGO Star Wars 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City to the next level may not be the perfect set for display, but some extra bricks and know-how can enchance the sizable set

“I am your father,” Darth Vader told Luke, in one of cinema’s most memorable moments. It took place at Bespin Cloud City, with Luke Skywalker clinging to the gantry as the Dark Lord of the Sith loomed over him. It is not the only iconic moment that takes place in Cloud City, with the carbon freeze chamber, the dining room and landing platform all hosting fan favourite scenes.

The LEGO designers managed to include all of these spaces, and several more, in LEGO Star Wars 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City. The set is an impressive size and makes for an excellent playset – but unfortunately the shape does not look quite right when on display.

With something about it feeling off, the Brick Fanatics Magazine build crew began working to give this set a deserving finished. By adding a new section below the existing set, Luke and Vader’s dramatic confrontation takes place off the ground as it does in The Empire Strikes Back – adding the necessary jeopardy to the moment.

Is it possible to buy back issues or digital issues of Brick Fanatics? I’m after issue 1 to improve my Cloud City 75222.
