The Classic Space astronaut rainbow continues to grow

Every LEGO Classic Space astronaut colour – June 2026

Following the announcement of 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine, the list of LEGO Classic Space astronaut colours has expanded once again.

Yesterday brought good news for LEGO Classic Space collectors, thanks to the official reveal of 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine. The upcoming LEGO Icons set will add a fresh colour to the rainbow of astronaut hues currently available, in the shape of both a complete light blue minifigure variant and a similar Spacebaby too.

With 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine due to launch next month, check out our updated guide to every LEGO Classic Space astronaut released and confirmed to date below, complete with details and suggestions as to where you can pick them all up from.

Blue

The classic blue astronaut minifigure has popped up in numerous LEGO sets over the years, but getting hold of one of those in 2026 may prove a little tricky. For instance, while 40921 Up-Scaled Blue Astronaut Minifigure was released a few months back, the set sadly didn’t include a corresponding minifigure.

And while The LEGO Movie's Benny has reintroduced variants of the original torso and helmet, along with the classic blue air tanks, the O.G. helmet and torso (sans weathering) haven't actually appeared since the original Classic Space heyday, so they're not necessarily the easiest to track down now.

Blue Spacebaby

LEGO Classic Space astronaut baby blue

Those looking for a blue Spacebaby minifigure will need to hunt down the Brown Astronaut from 71037 Series 24 or try to find a copy of either 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad or 40768 Micro Command Centre.

Dark Blue

Thanks to the arrival of 71499 Mateo’s Spray Paint Truck in 2025, getting hold of a complete dark blue Classic Space astronaut minifigure became slightly easier. Those who have the LEGO DREAMZzz set can grab the dark blue torso and oxygen tanks from that model and combine them with the dark blue torso from last year’s LEGO DREAMZzz Build a Minifigure line-up, plus some dark blue legs from BrickLink.

White

LEGO Classic Space astronaut white

White LEGO Classic Space astronaut minifigures have appeared in numerous sets over the years, so shouldn’t be that hard to obtain. A white helmet, oxygen tanks and legs can be purchased from Pick a Brick right now, while BrickLink is probably the place to secure the correct logo torso.

White Spacebaby

LEGO 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad gift-with-purchase review 12

If you’re hoping to expand your LEGO Classic Space minifigure collection with a white Spacebaby, you’re in luck. 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad from 2024 comes with the rare minifigure, although you’ll need to pick up the set on the secondary market if you don’t already have it. It’s worth noting that its face doesn’t match those of other Spacebabies, just in case you hadn’t noticed.

Red

Those who managed to add 10497 Galaxy Explorer to their Classic Space collections before it retired will know that the LEGO Icons model came with a red variant of the astronaut minifigure. If you missed out on the set, then those elements can be purchased via BrickLink.

Yellow

LEGO Classic Space astronaut yellow

No current sets contain a yellow version of the LEGO Classic Space astronaut minifigure, so your best is to find a copy of the long-since retired 70841 Benny’s Space Squad from 2019 or head on over to Pick a Brick and BrickLink for the individual elements required.

Black

Things get a little trickier for those wanting to secure a black LEGO Classic Space astronaut minifigure, which in modern-day sets has only been available in 2012’s limited-edition 5000438 Vintage Minifigure Collection Vol. 2, along with the helmet found in the now-retired 71460 Mr Oz’s Spacebus.

Green

The treasure hunt continues with a green LEGO Classic Space astronaut minifigure, which will require obtaining a copy of 21109 Exo Suit from 2014, along with a classic green helmet currently found in 80054 Megapolis City 5th Anniversary.

Light Grey

Only by combining multiple LEGO models will you be able to complete a full light grey Classic Space astronaut minifigure. You could opt for a light grey torso from 71018 Series 17’s Rocket Boy, the light grey oxygen tanks in 7047 Coast Watch HQ, light grey legs from 3420 Championship Challenge and a helmet from either 375 Castle or 6075 Castle, but we’d recommend just going down the BrickLink route.

Pink

It’s back to 70841 Benny’s Space Squad from the LEGO Movie 2 for a pink Classic Space astronaut minifigure, one of the primary ways to obtain this particular-coloured variant of the character.

71046 Series 26 Space from 2024 included a handy pink Spacebaby minifigure, making it relatively easy to track down on the aftermarket now.

Orange

This particular hue of Classic Space astronaut minifigure can be found in a number of different ways, such as picking up the LEGO Minifigure: A Visual History book or 40687 Alien Space Diner, although you’ll need the orange oxygen tanks from Pick a Brick to complete the latter.

Purple

LEGO Classic Space astronaut purple

Yet another bit of detective work will need to be undertaken in order to assemble a purple Classic Space astronaut minifigure. For starters, you’ll want to locate 80111 Lunar New Year Parade for the helmet, 40516 Everyone is Awesome for the legs and 71032 Series 22 for the torso, along with a pair of matching purple arms to swap out. Probably best to hit up BrickLink for this one.

Brown

LEGO Classic Space astronaut brown

Getting hold of a complete brown LEGO Classic Space astronaut minifigure is much easier thanks to 71037 Series 24. The minifigure collection is the perfect place to find both the full brown astronaut and a blue Spacebaby too.

Teal

LEGO Ideas 21358 minifigure vending machine review (33)

Last year’s 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine is the set to get your hands on for not-one-but-two different Classic Space astronaut minifigure variants. For starters, there are a pair of teal versions in the LEGO Ideas set, a welcome addition to all fans’ collections.

Pearl Gold

21358 Minifigure Vending Machine also offers up two striking pearl gold variants of a Classic Space astronaut minifigure. The unique look of the characters was the result of a fan vote as to which colours should be included in the LEGO Ideas model. Both the teal and gold astronauts have since made their way to Pick a Brick, too.

Light Blue

LEGO Icons 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine review-33

11374 Arcade Pinball Machine will expand the Classic Space astronaut minifigure line-up yet again, in the form of a light blue version. It's worth noting that the oxygen tanks first appeared in last year’s 21359 Italian Riviera and 76300 Arkham Asylum, alongside the corresponding torso in LEGO Store Build a Minifigure bars.

Light Blue Spacebaby

Accompanying the full-size version of a light blue Classic Space astronaut minifigure in 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine will be a matching Spacebaby. The smaller version is included as part of the playable mission that’s built into the LEGO Icons set and definitely deserves a place in fans’ collections.

Honourable mention

LEG 41843 Family Christmas Tree review 58

While 41843 Family Christmas Tree might not seem the most obvious place to obtain a bright green Classic Space astronaut minifigure, at least the correct helmet and oxygen tanks are available in the festive set.

Alternatively, you’ll need to head over to LEGO’s Pick a Brick service, where the bright green helmet, oxygen tanks and legs are currently still available. Unfortunately, there’s no sign of a bright green torso to date though, so the knitted sweater version in 41843 Family Christmas Tree will have to suffice for now.
