Every LEGO Creator Expert and Icons car so far – June 2025
A new and huge LEGO car set races to shelves next month, joining the long list of System-based car creations in the long-running collection.
Massive LEGO cars are nothing new, starting nearly two decades ago as part of a lengthy collection beginning in Advanced Models, which then became Creator Expert, and most recently transformed into LEGO Icons. The new 10357 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C is the latest piece in this extensive collection, confirming that the recent 72037 Mario & Standard Kart is not the equivalent for 2025.
The collection started in 2008 with 10187 Volkswagen Beetle, made iconic by the lack of transparent windscreen pieces and the brick-built hood that attempts to recreate the curve of the real vehicle. It would be remade eight years later in 10252 Volkswagen Beetle.
The range has explored nearly every kind of four-wheeled vehicle, from supercars to huge off-road variations, and here’s a look at how the massive collection is shaping up after 17 years.

The new 10357 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C is the latest addition to the range, and it will launch on July 1 for LEGO Insiders or July 4 widely for £139.99 / $159.99 / €149.99. It joins 10353 Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell as the 2025 additions to the range, and it seems likely that this will be the last of the releases for the collection this year, given that we have had two cars every year since 2020.
Many of the recent vehicles are still available, but 10317 Land Rover Classic Defender 90 is currently scheduled to retire later this year.
