Every LEGO Ideas set in production – July 2025
After a wave of LEGO Ideas set reveals, the list of every LEGO Ideas set in production has become a lot smaller, but there’s still plenty to come.
It’s been a busy month for LEGO Ideas, from activity on the platform itself to set reveals and even the release of the long-awaited 40789 Flying Moon Car and 40788 Friendly Snails. That’s not to mention 21359 Italian Riviera‘s unveiling earlier this week, demanding an update to the list of LEGO Ideas sets in production.

With the recent flood of support on LEGO Ideas, leading to the biggest review round by far, it might be wise to brace for this list to grow immensely in the years to come. For now, though, here’s your latest update to the guide of every LEGO Ideas set in production, with three projects removed now that their final designs have been revealed.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Roberto Ceruti and Jody Padulano’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory project is chronologically next for a LEGO Ideas set. It’s still rumoured that the book-based model will see its set launch on September 15, but this is unconfirmed at the time of writing.
The Goonies (1985)

Delusion Brick’s The Goonies model is one winner of the ’80s challenge on LEGO Ideas, presenting a unique pirate ship facade with scenes from the film inside as well as a collection of appealing minifigures. It’s still rumoured that this is coming in November 2025, but take that with a pinch of salt just in case.
Gizmo

Terauma’s Gremlins Gizmo project is said to be getting its official set this October. In the meantime, you can admire the original project, which proposes a recreation of the character as a buildable figure, with accessories straight from the film.
Minerals Display

Ddf72’s Minerals Display should make for an interesting and visually-grounded set when it is eventually launched, and rumours still suggest that it’s coming this October.
Love Birds

ModularManiac’s Love Birds was picked as the grand prize winner of the Build from the Heart challenge. The natural model is has an intrinsic connection to Valentine’s Day and it was approved for a set on February 10, 2025. With that timeframe, a release near Valentine’s Day next year would be wise, but this is only speculation.
Floating Sea Otter

Maximilian Lambrecht’s Floating Sea Otter depicts an adorable and lifelike recreation of a sea otter floating in the water. There’s no information, rumoured or otherwise, on when it will finally hit shelves and since it was only approved this March, you shouldn’t expect any updates for a while.
Snoopy – Campfire

Bossofdos64’s Snoopy set was approved at the same time as the otter, but its licensed nature may see it receive some different treatment as it transformed into an official model. Stay tuned for further updates, just in case.
Sea Serpent

The Twist of Nostalgia challenge winner has been unveiled as HallowedBrick02’s Sea Serpent, based on 6057 Sea Serpent from 1992. It’s now off to be transformed into an official model and is confirmed to be a future gift-with-purchase.
Tintin – Space Rocket

Tkel86’s Tintin Destination Moon model is one of the most recent LEGO Ideas projects to be approved, and it will act as our first Tintin set when it is eventually released. It was only approved last month, so don’t be too eager for any updates on this build, as none are likely for a while.
LEGO Godzilla

As exciting as MattE720’s Godzilla project is, it was also only approved last month and is similarly unlikely to receive any update for some time. In the meantime, we can only hope that the project’s pitched scale will be kept, ready for LEGO Godzilla to stomp around your LEGO cities as often as you like.
The X-Files: The Truth Is Out There

WetWired’s X-Files model has managed to come out on top in the larger of the two ’90s throwback challenges, guaranteeing the iconic series a future LEGO set.
Wallace & Gromit

Pidelium has managed to grant the LEGO fans a long-awaited Wallace & Gromit set, based on the iconic Aardman stop-motion duo. The model of the smaller ’90s challenge depicts the pair’s motorbike with a sidecar, using rounded elements to capture the proportions of each character.
