We’re a couple of weeks into the new year, and we already have an idea of what is retiring in just over six months, from LEGO Star Wars to City.
More LEGO themes have started to embrace a multi-wave retirement schedule, with one selection of sets leaving shelves in July and another in December. That means there’s more than ever to track in 2026. We’ve prepared a guide of these July 2026 retirement dates, but these are all subject to change over the next six months.

The LEGO Star Wars sets retiring in 2026 include several highlights, from the huge and army-buildable 75337 AT-TE Walker to several entries in the Starship Collection that collectors will want to grab before July is here.

The LEGO Ideas sets currently scheduled to retire in July include just three entries at the time of writing, but the trio is major. There’s the massive 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale with several minifigures ideal for a custom LEGO Castle scene, the iconic movie recreation that is 21350 Jaws and the playful 21352 Magic of Disney.

Why retire the blue baseplate?
Because it only costs $8. The profit margin got too small. They’d rather sell several smaller pieces for more profit. Also this is one hundred percent my opinion and not verifiable fact.
I want to add to my original comment it could also be that it just wasn’t selling. I really don’t know. But it all comes down to whether it’s good business to keep making them.
