Every LEGO Star Wars buildable figure so far up to 2023

75371 Chewbacca is just the latest in a long line of LEGO Star Wars buildable figures, joining the likes of droids, gifts-with-purchase and creatures.

Releasing on September 1 for £179.99 / $199.99 / €209.99, 75371 Chewbacca might not be to everyone’s tastes, but it’s far from the first time that the LEGO Group has tried to recreate a Star Wars character using System bricks, both original and robotic.

As we await the launch of 75371 Chewbacca, here’s a guide to every LEGO Star Wars buildable figure so far, excluding those using the Constraction system of bricks.

Yoda

Yoda has one of the first buildable LEGO Star Wars figures, dating back to 2002. However, the character has received a reinvented version of that build more recently, complete with an uninformative display plaque.

75255 Yoda£104.99 / $99.99 / €119.991,7712019

R2-D2

Unsurprisingly, R2-D2 has the most LEGO Star Wars buildable figures out of any character, including the likes of a GWP, a Boost build and a modern version of the original 10225 R2-D2.

Set namePricePiecesYear
10225 R2-D2£149.99 / $179.99 / €179.992,1272012

75308 R2-D2£209.99 / $239.99 / €239.992,3142021

BB-8

BB-8 is a more recent droid in the Star Wars universe but already has two models to its name with a GWP and a similar model to 75308 R2-D2.

75187 BB-8£84.99 / $99.99 / €99.991,1062017

BD-1

75335 918x1024

Based on the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game, 75335 BD-1 is the only brick-built version of this droid type to date, but it has multiple specialised minifigure-scale pieces in this set and 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter.

Set namePricePiecesYear
75335 BD-1£89.99 / $99.99 / €99.991,0622022

D-O

75278 scaled

Coming into the Star Wars universe as part of The Rise of Skywalker, D-O has just one buildable figure with 75278 D-O, which also includes a minifigure-scale element of the droid.

Set namePricePiecesYear
75278 D-O£64.99 / $69.99 / €69.995192020

General Grievous

10186 1

General Grievous’ only buildable figure was released in 2008 and has since retired. He has received a Constraction figure since, but we’re not including those on this list.

Set namePricePiecesYear
10186 General Grievous£63.59 / $89.991,0852008

Imperial Probe Droid

LEGO Star Wars 75306 Imperial Probe Droid 1

Joining the other LEGO Star Wars buildable droids, the Imperial Probe Droid’s only set comes complete with a snow-covered informative plaque.

Set namePricePiecesYear
75306 Imperial Probe Droid£59.99 / $59.99 / €69.996832021

Porg

LEGO Star Wars 75230 Porg 1 1024x903

Featured in The Force Awakens and spotted in many Star Wars media since, the Porg has just one buildable figure, and it seems unlikely that it will get any more.

Set namePricePiecesYear
75203 Porg£59.99 / $69.99 / €69.998112018

Grogu

75318 1

When The Mandalorian started, we didn’t know the name of The Child, hence the name of its set. However, knowing his name as Grogu, we can appreciate his adorable brick-built figure, complete with Razor Crest knob.

Set namePricePiecesYear
75318 The Child£79.99 / $89.99 / €89.991,0732020

Chewbacca

LEGO Star Wars 75371 Chewbacca 6 1024x576

Chewbacca’s first buildable figure, not including Constraction, launches in September, again complete with an informative plaque. The fur-covered hero might look a bit strange brick-built, but we’ll have to see whether or not this set is a hit. Either way, it’s the most recent LEGO Star Wars buildable figure.

75371 Chewbacca£179.99 / $199.99 / €209.992,3192023

Jack Yates

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
