LEGO Star Wars’ upcoming wave puts a major focus on the Tantive IV – a ship that has been present in sets since the early days of the theme.

For the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars, more focus than ever before is being put on the first ship seen on the big screen in the franchise’s history. The Tantive IV has had quite a bit of presence in LEGO Star Wars over the last 19 years, but likely less than you’d expect given its cinematic significance.

Ahead of the release of 75376 Tantive IV and 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV, here’s every official LEGO Tantive IV model ever released, whether it was its own set or part of a much bigger build.

10019 Rebel Blockade Runner

Price: $200 Pieces: 1,747 Release date: November 5, 2001

2001’s 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner is the first Tantive IV LEGO model and started off strong as one of the biggest depictions of the ship to date.

Mini model in 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer

Price: £249.99 / $269.99 Pieces: 3,096 Release date: December 6, 2002

In 2002, a much smaller Tantive IV debuted as part of 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer. Despite its size, it captured the most important details of the ship’s shape and it wouldn’t be the last at this scale.

10198 Tantive IV

Price: £122.99 / $149.99 Pieces: 1,408 Release date: September 1, 2009

After a seven-year wait, 10198 Tantive IV launched in 2009 complete with four minifigures and R2-D2. It would be remade later on but it served as the most iconic LEGO version of the Tantive IV for many years.

75011 Tantive IV & Planet Alderaan

Price: £11.99 / $9.99 / € Pieces: 102 Release date: January 1, 2013

Not quite as short-lived as the planet on the big screen, 75011 Tantive IV & Planet Alderaan dedicated a considerable part of its piece count to the Tantive IV, adding more detail compared to the 2002 model.

In what is likely going to remain the smallest LEGO build of the Tantive IV to date, the 2016 LEGO Star Wars advent calendar offered a miniature, but recognisable version of the ship.

Small interior in 5005376 Star Wars Anniversary Pod

Price: gift-with-purchase Pieces: 36 Release date: 2018

It’s worth mentioning that the promotional 5005376Star Wars Anniversary Pod includes an allusion to the interior of the Tantive IV in its build and a sticker from A New Hope.

75244 Tantive IV

Price: £179.99 / $199.99 / €199.99 Pieces: 1,768 Release date: May 4, 2019

Revisiting the Tantive IV for Star Wars Day in 2019, 75244 Tantive IV featured an exclusive Bail Organa minifigure but otherwise closely resembles 10198 Tantive IV with much more detail.

Mini model in 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer

Price: £614.99 / $699.99 / €699.99 Pieces: 4,784 Release date: October 1, 2019

Similar to 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer, 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer includes a miniature depiction of the Tantive IV with a different model using newer techniques.

6382975 Tantive IV

Price: Promotional set Pieces: 56 Release date: 2019

A promotional LEGO Tantive IV was given away at LEGO stores in 2019 with a unique structure compared to every other LEGO Tantive IV. The shaping isn’t quite as close as other LEGO Tantive IV models, but it’s still recognisable

75376 Tantive IV

Launching next month, 75376 Tantive IV is the first midi-scale Tantive IV as part of the newly-named LEGO Star Wars Starship Collection complete with a 25th-anniversary piece.

75387 Boarding the Tantive IV

Price: £49.99 / $54.99 / €54.99 Pieces: 502 Release date: March 1, 2024

75387 Boarding the Tantive IV is the most detailed recreation of the ship’s interior to date, also celebrating the 25th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars on March 1, 2024.
