Every LEGO Technic set retiring in 2021 and beyond – September update
Two previously-retiring LEGO Technic sets are no longer slated to leave shelves in 2021, and will instead hang around until at least the end of 2022.
While huge sets like 42083 Bugatti Chiron and 42100 Liebherr R 9800 Excavator are still scheduled to be gone by the end of the year, 42107 Ducati Panigale V4 R and 42116 Skid Steer Loader have both had their swansongs postponed, according to Brick Fanatics’ sources.
That’s the only change from last month’s list of retirement dates for the current portfolio of LEGO Technic sets, which means you’ve still got until the end of 2023 to grab two more of the LEGO Group’s latest and greatest supercars, 42125 Ferrari 488 GTE AF Corse #51 (review) and 42115 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 (review).
These dates could still change, of course – as they have done for 42107 and 42116 – but this is the list of LEGO Technic sets as it stands in September 2021, organised by current retirement dates:

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
