Every LEGO tribute gift-with-purchase so far – 2025 update

The LEGO tribute collection has expanded, now including models to pay homage to everyone from Hans Christian Andersen to Jane Austen.

While the exact details on how to acquire 40766 Tribute to Jane Austen’s Books are currently unknown, it’s clear that the LEGO tribute set collection has another entry to consider collecting. Jane Austen’s tribute model is the latest in the range, which has now paid tribute to a wide variety of people from throughout history with just as wide a variety of models.

While books and authors have become the most common subject matters for the tribute models, they’re far from the only sources of inspiration for the sets and here’s how the collection looks as of 2025.

40291 Creative Personalities

Pieces: 307 Year: 2018

40291 1

40291 Creative Personalities from 2018 may have come before the collection properly began, but there’s no doubt that it has a spot in the collection for the fact that it pays tribute to Hans Christian Andersen with an open-book design for its model that would form the foundation of future models.

40410 Charles Dickens Tribute

Pieces: 333 Year: 2020

40410 1

2020’s 40410 Charles Dickens Tribute arguably started the collection properly with the most minifigures of any set in the tribute range and a diverse scene that has some hidden functionality, as well. It also uses the most stickers, but to great effect.

40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute

Pieces: 200 Year: 2021

40450 3 1024x794

Amelia Earhart takes centre stage in the 2021 tribute set, also complete with an exclusive minifigure. The model recreates the iconic Lockheed Vega 5B that she flew across the Atlantic Ocean alone on a display stand, from which it can be detached for easy swooping around your room.

40579 Eiffel’s Apartment

Pieces: 228 Year: 2022

40579 1024x768

40579 Eiffel’s Apartment remains the most challenging of the tribute gifts-with-purchase to acquire as it was only exclusively available with purchases of the huge and expensive 10307 Eiffel Tower from launch for a limited time. It also doesn’t follow the traditional naming convention of the range, though it’s hard to ignore the historical link and minifigure. To those who have the set, consider your collection a bit more complete, but whether it’s an essential addition is up to you.

40530 Jane Goodall Tribute

Pieces: 275 Year: 2022

LEGO 40530 jane goodall 1024x672

40530 Jane Goodall Tribute from 2022 celebrates the famed figure with a section of a lush jungle featuring the famed Ethologist trekking through it, surrounded by a trio of chimpanzees. The focus on nature makes it a unique entry in the range of tribute sets.

40595: Tribute to Galileo Galilei

Pieces: 307 Year: 2023

LEGO Ideas 40595 Tribute to Galileo Galilei GWP 1024x767

2023’s 40595 Tribute to Galileo Galilei might be inspired by a fan design, but it has earned a spot in the tribute collection for consistent design features in line with the other sets – the minifigure and nameplate. The set depicts Galileo’s study, complete with one of the few functions in the entire collection – an orrery.

40690 Tribute to Jules Verne’s Books

Pieces: 351 Year: 2024

LEGO 40690 Tribute to Jules Vernes Books 2 1024x680

40690 Tribute to Jules Verne’s Books was once the biggest LEGO tribute gift-with-purchase, paying homage to three of Jules Verne’s titles. The Nautilus submarine represents Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, the train is a reference to Around the World in Eighty Days, and the balloon pays homage to Five Weeks in a Balloon.

40729 Shackleton’s Lifeboat

Pieces: 232 Year: 2024

LEGO 40729 Shackletons Lifeboat 1024x870

The gift-with-purchase for 10335 The Endurance can also be considered as a part of the collection as 40579 Eiffel’s Apartment is, with minifigures of Sir Ernest Shackleton and Frank Hurley, camera equipment and an upscaled lifeboat build from the larger LEGO Icons set.

40766 Tribute to Jane Austen’s Books

Pieces: 361 Year: 2025

40766 Prod en gb 1024x768

40766 Tribute to Jane Austen’s Books pays tribute to the English novelist, who wrote books including Sense and Sensibility, Emma and Pride and Prejudice. The build flips that of 40690 Tribute to Jules Verne’s Books on its side, keeping the collection consistent as of late. A new naming convention also appears to have been debuted starting with the 2024 GWP, as well, which continues in 40766 Tribute to Jane Austen’s Books.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.

Thank you. This is just what I was looking for. I am also looking for regular sets in a similar vein focused on literally and STEM/science. So far my list is Women of NASA, Evolution of STEM, Leonardo de Vinci, and Sherlock Holmes. Any others?

There’s the modular sets ofc, but Creator released a Bookshop sometime ago. Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter both have book nooks in the same “format” as the Sherlock Holmes one (HP has several “bookish” sets); and Wicked has its bookends. Lastly, there’s the Books Are My Passion set, it was released as a gift in 2024, and it’s lovely.

Does the Shackleton Lifeboat set not qualify as a tribute set?
