Here’s everything LEGO Castle fans have to look forward to in 2025
LEGO Castle’s steady resurgence over the past few years will continue in 2025 with new sets and minifigures. Here’s everything LEGO Castle fans can look forward to next year…
Since 2021’s 21325 Medieval Blacksmith and 31120 Medieval Castle returned to the era of swords, shields and armour, the LEGO Group has debuted a steady stream of new products with ties to Classic Castle. The biggest and best is easily 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle, while the latest is 2024’s 10332 Medieval Town Square – but the medieval mania isn’t going to stop there.
While we don’t yet know everything the LEGO Group has in store for the second half of 2025, we do know that there’s already plenty on the cards for LEGO Castle fans next year – including new sets, minifigures and more than a few crowdfunded builds. Check it all out below.
A new member of the Wolfpack

The LEGO Minifigures team has been doing a great job of including Castle-themed characters in its in-house series lately, and 71048 Series 27 keeps that up with the Wolfpack Beastmaster. This new addition to the Wolfpack includes new face, torso and leg prints, along with a dedicated Wolfpack shield, and will make a fine addition to the less detailed Wolfpack member in 10332 Medieval Town Square. It’s that first-ever LEGO wolf that will really be turning heads in January, though…
A dragon fit for a king

Also on the way in January 2025 is 31161 Green Dragon, a Creator 3-in-1 set that’s arguably one of the best dragons the LEGO Group has ever cooked up. It should integrate really nicely into any LEGO Castle display, and makes for a welcome (and more affordable) alternative for those who can’t quite stretch to picking up 2024’s 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale. The 715-piece set will retail for £54.99 in the UK, and is expected to cost $59.99 in the US and €59.99 in Europe.
A new or returning LEGO Castle faction

The current LEGO Ideas production slate includes Rob Vangansewinkel’s Minifigure Prize Machine, which was given the green light in May 2024. As most LEGO Ideas sets spend around 12 to 18 months in development before arriving on shelves, we can reasonably expect it to arrive in 2025. Why is that relevant to LEGO Castle fans? Well, earlier this year the crowdsourcing platform held a public poll to determine two ingredients in this working gumball machine.
The first is a new colour for a Classic Space astronaut, and the second is a LEGO Castle minifigure belonging to either a brand new or historic faction. We don’t know the results of the vote yet (and likely won’t until the set is revealed), but the options on the table were the legacy factions Bulls and Crows, and new factions Krakens and Griffins. Whatever happens, there will be another medieval minifigure to collect in the finished model.
A medieval-coded modular

Run with us here: the newly-revealed 10350 Tudor Corner is completely medieval-coded, incorporating Tudor architectural styles and a classic British pub. As plenty of fans online have already clocked, it really wouldn’t take too much tweaking to make it fully medieval-flavoured – just strip away the modern amenities here and there, perhaps redo the middle floor in half-timber construction to match the top floor, and you’ve got yourself a medieval tavern. There’s a fun build project for you for 2025…
(At least) five new LEGO Castle sets

Rumours of any further LEGO Icons Castle sets have yet to surface for 2025, but at least five new medieval-themed sets will either go on sale or arrive with fans next year thanks to the BrickLink Designer Program. If you pre-ordered Series 3’s Forest Stronghold, you should expect it to arrive sometime in the first half of the year, while there are two Castle-adjacent sets in Series 4 – SleeplessNight’s Siege Encampment and Bricks_fan_uy’s Medieval Seaside Market.
Series 5 will then offer up something slightly different in SleeplessNight’s Dracula-coded Adventure in Transylvania, before Series 6 delivers a fully-fledged Wolfpack build in BrickHammer’s Outlaw Forest Den. Check out the table below to find out when pre-orders will open for Series 4, 5 and 6 of the BrickLink Designer Program to get your hands on these sets.

|---|---|---|---|
| Forest Stronghold | Series 3 | October 8, 2024 | ~March 2025 |
