Everything you need to know about LEGO 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine

A new LEGO Back to the Future set is around the corner, and we’ve got everything you need to know about 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine.

Nine years after the original release of 21103 The DeLorean Time Machine and with nothing but BrickHeadz and LEGO Dimensions packs in the interim, Back to the Future is back in bricks as 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine offers a dedicated model to pay tribute to the classic movie trilogy.

It’s likely to sell at least a few copies when it launches next month, and to get you ready we’ve prepared everything you need to know about 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine.

It’s bigger than any other Back to the Future build

The original CUUSOO project that started this all, 21103 The DeLorean Time Machine was previously the largest version of the time-travelling vehicle ever released. However, that all changes soon as the 401 elements included in the 2013 model can’t quite compare to 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine’s piece count of 1,872 pieces.

It includes all three versions of the DeLorean

Whether you’re travelling to the future, the wild west, back to 1985, or anywhere else in history 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine has everything you need to represent the DeLorean in all three time periods, including the lightning rod on an extended pole.

The flux capactitor lights up

The included light brick in 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine won’t need 1.21 gigawatts of power to function as the usual batteries will help add life to the build, illuminating the brick-built flux capacitor just behind the passenger seats of the DeLorean.

It includes exclusive Back to the Future minifigures

Those who already own every LEGO Back to the Future set so far might still have a reason to add this creation to their collection as 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine features two exclusive minifigures depicting Marty and Doc in their futuristic attire, complete with self-lacing sneakers.

It’s out very soon

April is the release month of several LEGO sets including those from Jurassic World, Horizon Forbidden West and of course 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine as the brick-built DeLorean launches on April 1, with no pre-orders available at the time of writing.
