‘Extremely limited quantities’ of LEGO sets coming to VIP Reward Centre

The LEGO Group is going to discount some LEGO VIP rewards for Black Friday and introduce new ones in “extremely limited quantities”.

This Black Friday, the LEGO VIP Reward Centre is joining in. “Existing Reward Centre sale items” are going to be reduced by 50% – it’s unclear what the sale items are, so fans will have to find out what that means on the day. Essentially, any physical rewards currently available might only cost half the points they currently do.

There will also be new daily physical rewards in “extremely limited quantities” – does the LEGO VIP Reward Centre do sets in any other way? Based on previous occasions, it depends how desirable the sets are if they will sell out immediately; rare gift with purchase models run out in minutes, while former sale items with poor points value haven’t.

Given that the LEGO Group claims forecasting is “very very tricky”, it’s not tricky to know that “extremely limited quantities” will sell out more quickly than limited quantities, or even just reasonable quantities.

For those that miss out on the sets, “a limited quantity of money-off vouchers and LEGOLAND tickets” will also be available each day.

LEGO.com’s event kicks off on Friday, November 27, and runs through Monday, November 30. To stay up to date on all the LEGO Black Friday offers for 2020, head to our dedicated shopping pages:
