Challenge the Bone Demon in new LEGO Monkie Kid summer sets

LEGO Monkie Kid is back for another wave of sets as the theme introduces a new, fearsome villain in a record-breaking model that’s sure to stand out amongst your collection.

As Monkie Kid closes its second year in the LEGO Group’s themes, a trio of sets has launched to ring in summer with returning characters, fresh faces and a model inspired by a video game.

The highlight of the new wave for many will be 80028 The Bone Demon, featuring the most glow in the dark pieces in a LEGO set yet as well as the titular villain for the theme’s foreseeable future. White Bone demon introduces a new hair piece capable of holding its own glowing brick whereas her loyal Bone Spirits are made up of illuminating elements.

Here’s every LEGO Monkie Kid summer set that you can pick up now:

80025 Sandy’s Power Loader Mech
80026 Pigsy’s Noodle Tank
80028 The Bone Demon

Another feature of 80028 The Bone Demon is that the menacing mech can be split apart into separate builds for different stages of the battle, making for a difficult fight for the two included members of the Monkie Kid team. Representing the good guys is the titular hero and Mei equipped with a giant flying cloud and mech, not to mention an enlarged version of the magical staff.

All three of the LEGO Monkie Kid summer sets are available now from the official online LEGO store but there are plenty of other new builds to look forward to such as the Disney 43197 The Ice Castle and its exclusive mini-dolls.
